Is Century Law Firm Legit

Very professional company to work with. Keep me up to date with everything they do for me and I am very happy with my results so far. Many thanks to Century Law Firm. They have great staff! We appreciate Ms. Carpick`s comments and business, but we respectfully disagree with her statements. We have saved Ms. Carpick a lot of money by significantly reducing the initial balances to her creditors. With all due respect, we do not agree with their calculations. We also respectfully disagree with the client`s assertion that her credit rating is now lower than she had when she enrolled in the program. Our records show that the client`s credit score is now much higher shortly before the end of the program than when she enrolled.

We believe that if the client writes her reports with the credit bureaus, she will find that her scores are now much higher than before hiring our company. We are certainly concerned that Ms. Carpick believes there has been a misunderstanding in our communications, but Century Law Firm has a rigorous process to explain all the terms and conditions of the program before a client registers. We discuss all the details with the client over the phone and send them a copy of the agreement for review. In addition, all details are explained in a personal conversation before the customer signs the contract. Customers are always welcome to contact us with any questions or concerns they may have regarding the agreement prior to signing. However, we are not satisfied if Ms. Carpick misunderstood the information and would be happy to discuss any further questions or concerns. Century Law Firm can be reached at 800-381-1806 to speak in more detail. I have no idea how Century Law Firm collected fees from you.

If they had been taken in advance before the settlements were reached, it could have delayed your progress. For companies that don`t earn interchange fees until deals are made, you`d start making payments sooner. I am very fortunate that Century Law Firm represents me and gives me peace of mind. You can bet when they say it. They will. Always quick with any questions I have, no matter how small. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS LAW FIRM TO REMOVE STRESS FROM STRESS!!! I just spoke this morning with CWF`s representative, Chosen Prospect. She informed me of a recent billing from one of my largest accounts, I couldn`t be happier with the service offered by Chosen, which is typical of CLF as a whole. They kept me updated on progress throughout the process. I highly recommend CLF!! Halfway through the program, everything went as they had announced.

I always get a quick response. It was a pleasure. I hope this didn`t happen to you, but « someone » hacked my review and storage a few months ago. I thought I had the right security to protect something like that, but I was hit hard. What can I do and what do I need to act quickly. So I contact Century Law Firm, FIRSTthey immediately put me at ease. They explained everything and we started right away. Thank you chosen Partridge-Client Support Specialist I am glad I found Century Law Firm.

Very professional and trustworthy. I received my first update today and it was a pleasure to talk to Dominique. I highly recommend this company and its representative to take care of customers and explain things every step of the way. Since I signed up for Century Law, they have consistently taken care of my credit card accounts, negotiating important settlements on my behalf. They always cater to customer service needs and send me regular statements showing how my funds are being used. Debt relief companies have no power over creditors. They just know how to deal with creditors and how to keep accounts. Ultimately, power in the creditor-customer relationship comes either from a creditor offering attractive debt restructuring options or from consumers who assert all their legal rights through something like bankruptcy. We help consumers resolve their legal issues without judgment. Part of this « flexibility » of other companies seems to have been marketing to make a program shorter than it really could be.

Sometimes agreements with creditors do not work exactly as intended. This may be due to a number of factors, such as creditors changing resolution terms or policies along the way. What the debt relief company might have thought could change years later, when it`s time to pay a bill. Bankruptcy can offer benefits that other debt relief options cannot. COVID has put me in a desperate financial situation and Gabrielle@CLF is helping me negotiate a reasonable settlement with one of my 4 problematic accounts. This is an ongoing story and I will update my review later, but 7 months into the program, progress is as promised by CLF. I have almost finished this program and there are a few pros, but the pros DO NOT outweigh the cons. The people who explain the program do not give exact information. Sure, they settle your accounts for a percentage of what you owe, but what they don`t explain is that the percentage savings is based on the amount owed at the time of settlement, NOT what it was when you entered it into the program. I invested about $39,000 in the program and paid back about $36,000 by the time I finished my program.

This is NOT a significant saving for damage to my credit. My credit wasn`t terrible when I started the program. My payments were all on time, but my debts were too high and I was struggling to make all the minimum payments each month. That`s why I joined this program, because I thought that if they could settle my accounts for less than my balances, I would be in a better position. Instead, my credit score is lower NOW than when I joined the program (ONE more payment to make before I finish). When I expressed my frustration to a customer service representative, I was told that it would improve after the « completion date » because the debt-to-equity ratio is about 30% of solvency. What he didn`t tell me or didn`t seem to know was that on-time/late payments make up 35% of your credit score. I don`t know how they intend to correct this in my credit reports when I « finish » the program, but I have NO hope. The minimum savings I will see at the end of this program are NOT worth the damage to my credit score!!!! The bankruptcy would have been shorter (about 2 years compared to 4+ years with Century) and my loan would have been repaired faster than now. Bankruptcy remains on credit for 7 years, as do late payments. So my bad 7-year credit report will start towards the end of my program with Century instead of 3 years ago if I had just filed for bankruptcy.*** Regarding Century`s response, my credit score ranged from 640 to 660, depending on the office, when I entered the program. It is now around 620-635.

And while each settlement represents between 35 and 60 percent savings, this does NOT take into account the amount with interest and fees entered into the program. Again, I have invested about $39,000 in the program and when I am done, I will have made about 48-50 payments of $699, which is NOT a significant saving to make the lack of credit improvement worthwhile. It was easy to sign up for the program and the staff were very professional and knowledgeable about all the content. All communications were effective and timely. An amazing experience. I had credit card debt and before it went too far, I looked into this company that my friend had recommended to me with the mortgage lender. They planned a future refund that worked for me and it was great! Everyone I`ve been in contact with has been exceptional. Chosen Partridge is one of the reps who sent me updates, and she was so polite on the phone.

I highly recommend this company. But before you let your blood pressure skyrocket, I`d come back and read your customer contract you signed to see if your service contract doesn`t fix this problem. They signed it a long time ago, but if a problem arises, the company will remember to grab it quickly. Current client of the law firm Century. I signed up in 2016 and have made all my payments in full to date (except for three installments agreed with the company). Four accounts were settled and paid in full. Two accounts have been settled and payments are being made. An account has yet to be settled. Subscribe to receive monthly updates and exclusive offers I was skeptical and really scared to try debt settlement again after a previous bad experience, and now in less than a year in Century Law Firm settled two accounts for my family. Erica from CLF was very pleasant and prompt as our representative thanks to professional communication.

I`m thankful they did what they said all along, and I recommend them to everyone. I am not sure that you have any leverage to make demands other than to express your misfortune with them. I think they will find an explanation as to why the account has not yet been settled. You must either accept this statement or break the relationship and start with another company, perhaps for the latter account. Although the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA) was passed by Congress in 1978, few consumers are aware of this protection. It is very difficult to enter into such a program. Century Law made it easy and answered all my questions and concerns. They covered everything in advance and made it clear how things would work. They kept their word. I would gladly recommend Century Law to anyone who needs help.
